Statistical data indicates that for the first doctor consulted by the patient,the medical condition is correctly diagnosed in only 12% of the cases. Often the doctor may tell the patient that there is no serious health problem or incorrectly diagnose the health problem. Many illnesses have similar symptoms,and inexperienced or incompetent doctors may diagnose the wrong illness. Due to medical misdiagnosis patients may die or suffer permanent injuries,disability due to lack of proper medical care,incorrect medical treatment or delayed medical treatment. Incorrect diagnosis is one of the most common medical mistakes and results in the death of millions of patients worldwide annually.

Though patients who do not provide adequate medical information to the doctor,may be partly responsible for the wrong diagnosis,usually careless,inexperienced or dishonest doctors are responsible for not diagnosing the health problem correctly. Due to incorrect diagnosis of the illness,the patient will be advised the wrong treatment like incorrect medicines,diet,surgery or other methods to correct the health problem. Only when the health condition will worsen or remain the same,the patient may go the same doctor again or visit another doctor for a second opinion.

Doctors can correctly diagnose the medical condition of their patient if they have the relevant experience,knowledge and all necessary information. Patients should be aware that they will not be able to initiate a personal injury case against the doctor just because the doctor does not diagnose the illness correctly since there is no injury to the patient immediately. However if the incorrect diagnosis of the patient will cause permanent injury or death,the patient or a family member can initiate a case of medical practice against the doctor to get compensation for the losses.

Since a large number of patients worldwide die due to medical mistakes,it is important for the patient or his family member to keep proper medical records of the diagnosis of the doctor and treatment suggested,especially for serious illnesses. If the misdiagnosis results in permanent injury to the patient,the doctor can also be sued for the financial losses suffered by the patient. The compensation which the patient or his family will get due to the incorrect diagnosis depends on the education,experience,skills of the patient,whether the illness or medical condition was fatal and other factors. It is also important to consult an experienced medical malpractice attorney specializing in medical malpractice to get the compensation the patient deserves.

The making money part of your business won’t happen quite yet.

Before you earn money,you are going to first be focusing on creating your niche website (which will take place in the next two lessons) and are working to get traffic to your website. Without a website,without content,and without traffic,the MONEY part simply doesn’t happen.

So don’t look at this like a race. You will reach success and a great deal of it,but before you build your own personal SKYSCRAPER of a business,you must first have a solid FOUNDATION to build it on. That is going to be our first goal within the Getting Started training. Cool?

Task #1: Understand the Make Money Process

There are MANY different ways that you can earn money online and many different ways in which you can build an entire business. The most lucrative and the one that we have been teaching here at Wealthy Affiliate for the past 14 years is Affiliate Marketing.

Below is a diagram outlining the process of making money through affiliate marketing.

There are now over 4 BILLION people online as of 2019 (YOUR audience) and these people are going to search engines,social media,or visiting websites for help all the time.

These people are looking for information,solutions to problems and to buy stuff.

That is where you are going to come in with your website and help these “audiences” by offering them information about what they are looking for. You will be “helping” these people,recommending products/services they can benefit from,and you earn affiliate commissions ($$) as a result.

There are over 550 MILLION products/services that you can promote as an affiliate marketer. The opportunity is incredible and it is only growing!

By Lesson 4 of this course you are going to have your very own “niche” website in place that you will use to connect with your chosen audience and make money with. You will have your very own slice of the internet opportunity.

Task #2: Create (Write Down) Your Financial Goals

You want to earn revenue right? That is great! In order to earn anything however,you need to have some goals in place.

In this task we want you to join in on a “money goals” discussion here at Wealthy Affiliate. You are going to be telling us what your goals are and going forward,we are going to be helping you achieve these very goals!

QUESTION #1: How much money would you be happy earning?

QUESTION #2: How much would you be ecstatic (ie,really excited) earning?

QUESTION #3: And how much TIME are you willing to invest to achieve these goals?

PLEASE make 100% sure that you do not skip this step and you revisit this post regularly when you are in need of some motivation. I can absolutely assure you that if you work hard at this and you are persistent towards these goals,you will achieve them. But ultimately it is UP TO YOU!

Task 1: Building Your Website

Your website is your foundation of your business. It is where all of your traffic is ultimately going to come to,where you are going to build brand and trust within the industry,and where you can promote products/services and generate revenue!

The SiteBuilder platform here at WA is the most simplistic,yet advanced in the industry. It is going to less than 30 seconds to get a full operational,profit ready WordPress website up and running online.

There are 4 steps in the website build process,that I am going to walk you through here. To access the SiteBuilder and EVERYTHING related to your website,you will simply click the light blue “SiteRubix” button in the main menu.

Step 1: Choose the Kind of Website

There are really TWO options here,on a FREE website or on your OWN domain. Ideally,you will have your own domain,but that can come with time.

You can “register” your very own domains right within Wealthy Affiliate using our state of the art SiteDomains platform,which will allow you to instantly set-up your own domain for your own use.

If you are just starting out as a Starter member,you will be building a website on the .siterubix.com domain,which is a completely free website. You can build and host up to 2 FREE websites as a Starter.

As a Premium member,you can build and host up to 25 free websites and the ability to create 25 sites on your own domains (total 50 websites). That is more than adequate to drive many multi-million dollar businesses over time.

For the sake of this training,we are going to be choosing “On a free domain”.

Do know that within the Premium membership,you can easily MOVE a free .siterubix.com button to a registered domain (one you may own) using the “Premium Only” MOVE feature. So by all means start off with a free website.

Step 2: Choose a Domain

Remember last lesson when I chose my “brand”. In this step,I am going to be placing my brand name into the “domain name” field. This is because this will be my website URL and my brand moving forward.

As you can see below,I have added my brand “real deal affiliate” into the domain field.

When you type in your domain,it will let you know if it is available or not. In my case it was,but if your first choice is not available simply do another search until you find a domain name that works for you.

You cannot put spaces in your domain name,hence why my domain is “realdealaffiliate”.

Step 3: Choose a Website Name

The name of your website should match your domain,but it just needs to be grammatically correct (with proper spacing). You can see below my example of this:

Domain: realdealaffiliate.siterubix.com
Title: Real Deal Affiliate

It is as simple as that. Don’t overthink this step,your title will be the same as your domain.

Step 4: Choose a Design

The last step is choosing a “look” for your theme. As a Starter member you will have access to 12,hand picked quality designs.

As a Premium member,you will have access to over 2,464 designs (as shown below) on your website. These are referred to as “Themes”.

Choose a design that you like.

Click on the design you like,and then you will be able to build your site.
